Ayodhya verdict has been given and as of now there are no remote signs of any unrest.
So has secular India won in this battle?
News channels are beaming campaigns of India First. Our government has been preaching us to think that we are Indians first and later come our respective religions.
But it is the same government which has agreed to add the caste status in the census.
To take this discussion further let me get to a point which says that any matter must be solved from its roots.
Now if we are indeed secular then why are we so divided in the very roots of our religion?
And if we are so divided then we have no right to call ourselves as secular. This whole issue of caste has been carried on from ages and one should not interfere in these matters, people would say. I agree to that but then with changing times we need to take a serious look into these matters.
If stats speak then they tell a gory story about honour killings in our country. The base of these killings is the caste divide within our society.
I know that I am nobody to preach but in an era where we are going to be a super power and the world is going to look at all the happenings in our country with a microscope we need to change and we need to change for a better future.
We can come out of the clutches of religion divide only if we come out of the so called Chakraviu of the caste structure.
It’s time to wake up to this reality and live in a truly Secular Country.
My dear friend, you have wonderfully arranged letters to form a great thought. But, lets not mixup apples and oranges. For that matter, caste system is included in the census to regulate our another system of so called reservations!!!
ReplyDeleteComing to the point, why youth are greatly influenced by the 15 minutes speech of cunning politicians? I'm sure many people in the nation if asked to locate Ayodya in the map wont be able to tell only for the fact of saying that its ram's janmasthan or its somewhere in U.P(and that even by influence of someone else)!!! Ask anyone those whoever supporting or not supporting the verdict of high court, why are they supporting or not supporting the verdict? The answer would be novice i.e. because the eldest member of my family say so.
We, India, boast of having highest youth population in the near future. We urge to bring change! Surpass China; Become the super-power!!! blah blah....
I wonder if we are to become the population of maximum young janata of change then is that really possible if they have brains of lamb?!?!
